Malabar Gopalan Nair Sreekumar (May 25, 1957), aka M. G. Sreekumar, is an
award-winning Indian playback singer, composer, and television host best known
for his extensive contributions to the Malayalam film industry. One of the most
popular and beloved playback singers, he has performed over 35,000 songs in
several languages such as Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi and is
the founder of the company KMG Musics. The son of harmonist Malabar Gopalan Nair
and Harikatha musician Kamalakshi Amma, he was born in the city of Haripad,
