French rapper Luv Resval was born in Cambrai on January 6, 1997, and was raised in Essonne in Southern Paris. Influenced by American rappers Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert, he began rapping during his teenage years and kicked off his music career in 2017 with a series of freestyles on his social media channel, which garnered the attention of fellow rapper and future mentor Alkpote.
