Luisa Almaguer is a Mexican singer, actress, and communicator from Azcapotzalco,
Mexico City, whose musical style encompasses trova, shoegaze, hyperpop, and
grunge. Almaguer began her career as an actress, appearing in the films The
Gigantes, Una mano bajo la nieve y otras historias, and Padre Pablo. She
launched her recording career with the release of her debut extended play,
Mijillo (also known as Miljillo), in 2016, followed by her first full-length
