Born Robert Sisa Paula in Azua, Dominican Republic, on March 12, 1977, Luis
Miguel del Amargue launched his career in 1998 with the album Amor de una Noche,
released via Chaira Records and spotlighting a mix of bachata and merengue that
led to a contract with JM Records. Over the next decade, he built a solid
discography in Spain with albums such as Luisa María (1999), Te Echo de Menos
(2000), Quiero Amanecer Contigo (2001), Amor de Locos (2002), and the best-of
