Born Ludmila Oliveira da Silva on April 24, 1995, in Duque de Caxias, Rio de
Janeiro, Brazilian singer and songwriter Ludmilla first found fame as MC Beyoncé
after the video for her song "Fala Mal de Mim" went viral in 2012. Following
extensive touring, she dropped the moniker and signed with Warner Music Brazil
in 2014, releasing her debut album Hoje later that year. Its follow-up, A Danada
Sou Eu (2016), earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album.
