Lovebites
Lovebites is a heavy metal band from Tokyo, Japan, where the all-female group
formed in 2016. Bassist Miho and drummer Haruna had previously performed
together in Destrose, a pioneering, female-led metal band that charted three Top
10 singles on the Oricon Indies chart during the early 2010s. After Destrose's
breakup, the two began rehearsing with a new lineup that featured guitarist
Midori, keyboardist Miyako, and vocalist Asami, and the group adopted the name
"Lovebites" after performing Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do I)" in practice one
