Love as Laughter
Love As Laughter was an American indie rock band from Olympia, Washington.
Formed in 1994 by vocalist and guitarist Sam Jayne following the break-up of his
previous band, Lync. The group released their album The Greks Bring Gifts
(1996), followed by several albums including Destination 2000 (1999) and
Laughter's Fifth (2005). In 2008, the band signed with Isaac Brock's label
Glacial Pace and released the album Holy. Sam Jayne was found dead on December
15, 2020. His family confirmed that his cause of death was a result of
heart-related, undiagnosed health conditions.
