Louise Carver, born January 10, 1979, in Cape Town, South Africa, is a singer-songwriter and pianist. She began playing piano at age 11 and received her first recording contract at 15. Carver's debut single "It Don't Matter" was released in 1996 when she was 17, topping the South African National Campus Charts and peaking at number 3 on the National Top 40 Charts.
