Louis Capart, born on August 31, 1947, in Paris, France, is a French singer-songwriter who frequently performed in French and Breton. In 1984, he left his public sector job to focus on his music career. Capart released his debut self-titled album in 1982, which included the iconic song "Marie-Jeanne-Gabrielle", a tribute to the Île de Sein. He followed this with albums such as Patience (1986) and Berlin (1992). His work was recognized with the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles-Cros in 1986 and the René Jeanne Prize from SACEM the following year for his album Volume 3 « Patience »....
