Lotto King Karl, born Gerrit Heesemann on 4 February 1967 in Hamburg, Germany, is a German singer and radio host. After completing his Abitur, he worked as a packer and courier before serving in the German Navy, where he adopted the stage name Lotto King Karl. His breakthrough came with the 1995 single "Ich hab’ den Jackpot", followed by a radio show on Delta Radio. In 1996 he released his debut album Weiß’ Bescheid?!, establishing him as a Hamburg local star with songs that reference the city’s culture and the HSV football club.
