Los Zafiros were a Cuban close-harmony vocal group formed in Havana on December
17, 1962. Inspired by American groups like The Platters, the quartet became part
of the filín movement, blending Cuban rhythms with various genres. The initial
lineup included Leoncio Morúa, Miguel Ángel Cancio Soria, Homero Ignacio
Elejalde Sánchez, and Eduardo Elio Hernández Mora. Success included tracks such
as “Amor loco” (1964) and “He venido”, which appeared in the series Breaking
Bad. The catalog includes releases such as Mírame fijo (1967) and Bossa Cubana
