Los Super Reyes
Los Super Reyes were formed in Corpus Christi, Texas, in 2007 by keyboardist,
songwriter, and producer Cruz Martínez following the breakup of Kumbia Kings.
Martínez retained several musicians and vocalists from the former group and
signed the new 12-member ensemble to Warner Music Latina. Their debut album, El
Regreso de los Reyes, arrived later that year, combining Mexican cumbia with
Latin pop, R&B, hip-hop, reggaeton, and electronic production. Its lead single,
“Muévelo,” reached number 11 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, while the
album climbed to number three on Top Lat...
