Los Suaves, a Spanish hard rock band formed in Orense, Galicia, was established
in 1979 by brothers Yosi, Charly, and Javier Domínguez. They began performing in
1981 and gained early recognition as teloneers for The Ramones in La Coruña.
Their debut album Esta vida me va a matar was released in 1982 under the
independent label Edigal. Los Suaves' breakthrough came with their third album
Ese día piensa en mí, which led to national recognition and the live album Suave
es la noche. The band's sound evolved with the addition of Alberto Cereijo, who
