Loona
Loona is an EDM project from the Netherlands founded in the mid-1990s.
Marie-José van der Kolk and DJ Sammy form the core of Loona. Both artists
released the album Life Is Just a Game in 1998 under the name Charisma. Their
first single as Loona, "Bailando", followed in the same year. The song is a
cover version of a song by Paradisio from 1996 and becomes a summer hit as well
as a number 1 success in Germany and Switzerland. Loona followed this up with
another number 1 hit in Germany with "Hijo de la luna", also a cover version of
a song by Mecano from 1984. The first Loona album...
