London Brass is a brass ensemble from the United Kingdom, formed in 1986 by former members of the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble after its disbandment. The group, founded by Roger Harvey and David Purser, quickly established itself as a leading force in the brass band genre. Their debut album Impressions of Brass (1986) marked their first release, followed by notable works such as Carmen – bold as brass (1987) and Christmas with London Brass (1990).
