Living Sacrifice
Living Sacrifice, an American Christian metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas,
was formed in 1989 by Darren D.J. Johnson on bass and vocals, Bruce Fitzhugh on
rhythm guitar, and Lance Garvin on drums. The group's name is derived from the
biblical verse Romans 12:1. In 1991, Living Sacrifice released their self-titled
debut album under R.E.X. Records, which showcased a thrash metal sound. Their
second album, Nonexistent, was released in 1992 and marked a shift towards death
