Little Scream
Laurel Sprengelmeyer, known professionally as Little Scream, was born in Iowa
and is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began her musical
journey studying piano and violin as a child. After moving to Montreal, she
connected with prominent Canadian musicians, including members of Arcade Fire
and The National. Her debut album, The Golden Record, was released in 2011,
co-produced by Richard Parry of Arcade Fire and received a Polaris Music Prize
