Linear were an American freestyle-pop group founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida,
in 1989. The line-up originally included Charlie Pennachio on lead vocals and
songwriting duties, Wyatt Pauley on bass and guitar, Joey Restivo on percussion,
Gerald Rappaport on drums, Phil Conneilly on guitar, and Ricki Archer on backup
vocals and keyboards. In 1990, Linear released their breakthrough single
"Sending All My Love", which reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in May
