Originally the solo project of keyboardist Charles de Boisseguin, L'Impératrice
has evolved into an electro-pop band with strong disco influences. Formed in
Paris in 2012, the band grew with musicians Hagni Won (keyboards), David Gaugué
(bass), Achille Trocellier (guitar) and Tom Daveau (drums), before the
recruitment in 2015 of singer Flore Benguigui. After debuting on Cracki Records
with a homonymous debut EP in 2012, L'Impératrice signed with independent label
Microqlima and produced the Sonate Pacifique (2014), Odyssée (2015) and
