(Lev Barashkov)
Lev Pavlovich Barashkov, born December 4, 1931 in Moscow, USSR, was a Soviet
theater and film actor and pop singer. He grew up in Lyubertsy, studied at the
Kaluga Pedagogical Institute, and performed under Zinovy Korogodsky before
enrolling at GITIS in 1956 and joining the Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre. In the
mid-1960s, he shifted to music, becoming a soloist for Igor Granov’s ensemble
Blue Guitars and later working with Mosconcert from 1966 to 1976. He was the
first performer of Alexandra Pakhmutova's song “Главное, ребята, сердцем не
