Leo Leandros was born on August 23, 1923 in Astakos, Greece. He is a Greek
singer, composer, lyricist and music producer who has a lasting influence on
European pop music. After the Second World War, Leo Leandros was discovered as a
singer and initially worked in radio in Greece. In 1955, he moved to Germany to
continue his career. He achieved his first successes in 1956 with his own
singles such as "Conchita". In 1957, he achieved his first major success with
