Lena Meyer-Landrut, born on May 23, 1991 in Hanover, is a German pop singer and
songwriter who is mainly known in a musical context by her first name Lena. Even
as a child, Lena made appearances on German television. Her application in the
talent show Unser Star für Oslo led to her being allowed to represent Germany at
the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Norway. She wins the contest with her song
"Satellite", laying the foundations for a successful international career as a
