Leila Arab, born 3 September 1971 in Pahlavi, Tehran, is a British‑Iranian
electronic producer, composer and DJ. After her family moved to London, she
first performed as a keyboardist for Björk in 1993, later working with Galliano
and Aphex Twin. Her breakthrough came with the 1997 single "Don’t Fall Asleep"
on Rephlex, followed by the album Like Weather (1998) featuring Donna Paul,
Luca Santucci and her sister Roya Arab. She signed with XL Recordings and
released Courtesy of Choice (2000), touring with Björk on the Greatest Hits
Tour. In 2008 she issued Blood, Looms & Blooms on ...
