Lee Moses, born Vincent Lee Moses on March 13, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia, was an
American R&B and soul singer and guitarist. He formed his first band, The
Showstoppers, in the late 1950s, which gained popularity in Atlanta. Moses moved
to New York City in the mid-1960s and worked as a studio musician. His first
single "My Adorable One" was released on Lee John Records in 1965. In 1971, he
released his album Time and Place on Maple Records, featuring versions of
classic songs like "Hey Joe" and "California Dreaming". Despite critical
