Lauriete Rodrigues de Jesus, born February 23 1970 in Vitória, Espírito Santo,
Brazil, is a Christian singer and songwriter whose career began in the early
1980s with the release of O Arrebatamento in 1982 and followed by Poder de Deus
in 1983. She gained early recognition with Mais Amor (1988) and Paraíso de amor
(1987) that consolidated her presence in Brazilian evangelical music. Throughout
