Laurie London, born on January 19, 1944, in London, was a British singer who gained fame as a child star in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He began playing the guitar at an early age and made his debut as a singer during a BBC Music Show called 6. Special, which led to his first recording session at Abbey Road Studios under producer Norman Newell. Laurie London's breakthrough came with the release of his debut single "He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands" in September 1957. Despite initial plans to promote "The Cradle Rock" as the A-side, "He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands"...
