Laura Caro
Laura Isabel Caro Beltrán, known as Laura Caro, was born on December 22, 1983,
in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. She began showing an interest in music and
singing at the age of seven, composing her first songs by twelve. In 2002, at 18
years old, she gained national attention as a contestant on the reality show La
Academia, where she performed "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston. After
finishing ninth, Caro released two independent albums: Libelula in 2010 and
