Las Manos de Filippi, also known as LMF, is an Argentine rock band formed in
1992 by Hernán Carlos de Vega and Gabriel Hermo. The group emerged from the
underground music scene of Buenos Aires, blending various genres such as cumbia,
ska, hip hop, reggae, punk, and rock. Their debut album Arriba las manos, esto
es el Estado was released in 1998 under Universal Music after a dispute with
Bersuit Vergarabat over the song "Sr. Cobranza". The band's subsequent releases
