Las Grecas
Las Grecas is a Spanish flamenco and rock duo formed in 1973 in Madrid by
sisters Carmela Muñoz and Edelina “Tina” Muñoz. In 1973, the group released the
single “Te estoy amando locamente”, which reached Number 1 on the Spanish charts
for five weeks and sold 500,000 copies. Their debut studio album, Gipsy Rock,
followed in 1974. The duo released Mucho más (1975), Tercer Album (1976), and
Casta Viva (1977) before becoming inactive in 1979 due to management conflicts.
Muñoz attempted to resume activity with the ensemble in the 1990s alongside the
singer Malicia and her niece Saray....
