Larry Sparks

Larry Eugene Sparks, born September 25, 1947, in Lebanon, Ohio, is an American bluegrass singer and guitarist. Influenced by artists like Wayne Raney and the Stanley Brothers, Sparks began his music career playing guitar in country music and rock bands during high school. In 1964, he joined the Stanley Brothers. With Ralph Stanley and His Clinch Mountain Boys, Sparks recorded modern bluegrass standards such as "I Only Exist" and "Sharecropper's Son."
