Lara Somogyi
Lara Somogyi is a contemporary classical harpist and composer based in Los
Angeles. Born and raised in Kauai, Hawaii, and New York, Lara is a graduate of
the Royal Academy of Music in London and was named an Honorary Associate of the
Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) for her contributions to her field. Years spent
sculpting her sound and developing her repertoire of contemporary harp
expressions have led her to write compositions for solo harp and electronics.
Her first album ! (2022), released on Decca Records' Mercury KX label, blends
traditional harp, electronics and pedal effects...
