Yamikani Janet Banda, professionally known as Lady Zamar, born June 19, 1995, in
South Africa, is a South African singer, songwriter, and author. She entered the
music industry collaborating with producer Junior Taurus as the duo Lady Zamar &
Junior Taurus, releasing their debut studio album, Cotton Candy (2015). The
album, which featured the singles “Mamelodi” (2015), “Run Away” (2015), and
“Pitori” (2015), earned nominations for Duo/Group of the Year and Best Dance
