La Femme Pendu
Allison Scagliotti Smith, known professionally as La Femme Pendu, was born on
September 21, 1990, in Monterey, California, and is a musician, actress, and
director. She began her career as an actress and later transitioned into music
under the pseudonym La Femme Pendu. Her musical debut came with the EP All of
Them Witches, released in 2019. This was followed by her first full-length
album, Absolute Horror, in 2020. In November 2020, she released another EP
titled The Legend of the River King. Her second studio album, Vampyr, was
released in 2021.
