Labanda are a Spanish Celtic music and folk-rock group from Madrid, formed in
1979. The ensemble originally performed as La Banda de Rory McGregor. The
group's repertoire consisted primarily of traditional instrumental pieces, such
as “Sueños diabólicos”. The band released the self-titled studio album Labanda
in 1980, followed by Fiesta campestre (Rockmería) in 1981. Labanda became
inactive in 1986 and resumed activity in 1987 with a new formation led by Leonel
