Kurt Carr
Kurt Carr, born October 12, 1964, in Hartford, Connecticut, is an American
gospel music composer and performer. He began his musical journey as a teenager,
performing at the Hartford Stage Company and later becoming active in his
church's music department. In 1988, he released his first EP, I'm Glad, with The
Kurt Carr Singers on Charnya Records. After signing with Light Records, they
released their debut major label album, Together, in 1991. Subsequent albums
include Serious About It! (1994), No One Else (1997), and Awesome Wonder (2000),
which featured the popular song "In the ...
