Korni, a Russian pop rock band formed in 2002, gained prominence after winning
the best band title on the show Star Factory -1. The group initially consisted
of Dmitry Pakulichev and Alexandr Berdnikov as vocalists, with Alexey Kabanov on
keyboards. Korni's debut album, Na veka, was released in 2003. In 2005, they
released the music video for "Happy New Year, people!" and in April 2006, they
dropped the single "Want me to sing to you," with a subsequent video directed by
