こおろぎ’73 (Koorogi '73), a Japanese backing vocals group, was formed in 1972 and
became known for their contributions to various popular media franchises. The
group's name translates to "cricket" in English. Koorogi '73 gained prominence
through their work on the Super Robot series, as well as Toei's Super Sentai and
Kamen Rider Series. Their vocal talents were integral to the soundtracks of
these iconic anime and tokusatsu productions. Koorogi '73 disbanded in 1990. In
2006, the group released a compilation album, こおろぎ'73 スーパー・ベスト.
