Foued Nabba, aka Kofs, was born in 1990 and grew up in Marseille with his
Algerian parents and brothers. Although he was not necessarily immune to the pop
culture he discovered daily on television, he eventually developed a passion for
rap, in which he recognized his daily life more clearly. His brothers introduced
him to rap by listening intensively to the likes of IAM, Salif and Alibi
Montana, and soon the young man was writing his first lyrics and developing a
