Alexander Knappe (born 15 February 1985 in Wilhelm-Pieck-Stadt Guben, Germany)
is a German singer whose early life was marked by athletic pursuits before a
career‑ending cruciate ligament injury forced a shift to music. After leaving
the Hertha BSC sports school, he formed the trio Jandtee and later the project
Kleistpark, but his breakthrough came with participation in X Factor
