Klaus & Klaus, a German schlager duo, was formed in 1980 when Klaus Baumgart met Klaus Büchner, singer of the band Torfrock. Their first single, "Da steht ein Pferd auf’m Flur", released in 1983, marked their debut and led to appearances on various television shows.
