Kittie
Kittie is a gold-certified, Juno-nominated heavy metal band from London,
Ontario, where the group was formed in 1996 by guitarist Fallon Bowman, drummer
Mercedes Lander, and singer Morgan Lander. The Lander sisters would become the
only bandmates to appear on every album, starting with the group's 1999 debut,
Spit. The album went gold in the US, where the songs "Brackish" and "Charlotte"
both reached the Top 40 of the Billboard Active Rock chart. Oracle followed in
2001, reaching number 57 in the US and number 121 in the UK. That same year,
