Australian rock band Kisschasy, from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2002. The
group consisted of lead vocalist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit,
guitarist Sean Thomas, and drummer Karl Ammitzboll. Three members—Vanderuit,
Thomas, and Ammitzboll—grew up near Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula,
while Cordeux hails from Cranbourne. The band's formation occurred when Tenpin,
a local group featuring Vanderuit, Thomas, and Ammitzboll, met Cordeux’s band at
the Arthouse in Melbourne. In 2004, Kisschasy released two EPs on indie label
