Kiroro
Kiroro is a Japanese pop duo formed in 1995 by vocalist Chiharu Tamashiro (born
1977, Yomitan, Okinawa) and keyboardist Ayano Kinjō (born 1977, Yomitan,
Okinawa). The pair began performing as an independent band before signing with
Victor Entertainment and making a major debut in 1998 with the single "Nagai
Aida". They appeared on Kōhaku Uta Gassen in 1998, 1999 and 2001, and later
provided a re-recorded "Mother Earth version" of "Best Friend" for the Japanese
dub of The Good Dinosaur. Their album Nagai Aida ~Kiroro no Mori~ (1998) was
