Marlon Plunkett, known professionally as Kiprich, was born on March 2, 1979, in
Saint Catherine Parish, Jamaica. He began his music career early, working with
various soundsystems and releasing his first single "Leggo di bwoy" in 1999. His
breakthrough came when he was invited to the Freddy McGregor Studios in
Kingston, leading to collaborations with notable figures like Tony Matterhorn
and Lexxus. His career flourished with releases on labels such as VP Records and
