Kingston Rudieska
Kingston Rudieska, a groundbreaking nine-piece South Korean ska band, was formed
in 2004 by trombonist Choi Chul-wook. Drawing heavily from first-wave Jamaican
ska and Caribbean genres like reggae and calypso, the band is heavily influenced
by The Skatalites, frequently performing their covers. Kingston Rudieska’s sound
integrates jazz elements, showcasing solos from members, many of whom are
