Kingfishr
Hailing from Limerick, Irish folk trio Kingfishr consists of Edmond McKeogh
(vocals, guitar), Eoghan McGrath (vocals, banjo) and Eoin Fitzgibbon (vocals,
guitar). They met at university in 2017 and found a shared passion for
perpetuating the folk tradition through its renewal by electric rock. Under
their band name inspired by the kingfisher bird, the musicians borrow as much
from Irish folklore as from modern instrumentation, and garnish their
compositions with powerful vocal flights that have made them famous across the
