Kindred the Family Soul is an American neo soul duo consisting of the married couple Fatin Dantzler and Aja Graydon. Emerging from the Philadelphia neo soul movement, they were introduced to Steve McKeever of Hidden Beach Recordings by the singer Jill Scott in 2000. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Surrender to Love (2003), which featured the single "Far Away".
