Kim Larsen
Kim Larsen was a popular Danish singer-songwriter and guitarist. He first found
fame as a member of the rock group Gasolin', formed in 1969 with Franz
Beckerlee, Wili Jonsson and Soren Berlev. They released nine albums in the 1970s
and became one of Denmark's most influential acts with songs such as the
anthemic 'This Is My Life'. After the break-up of Gasolin' he released several
solo albums, starting with 1973's successful 'Værsgo'. In 1983 his film
soundtrack 'Midt om Natten' became the biggest-selling album in Danish history.
