Kim English, born on 6 September 1970 in Chicago, Illinois, was an American
singer and songwriter. She began her musical journey singing in a gospel choir
and was an active member of the evangelical Family Christian Center in Munster,
Indiana. Her breakthrough came with her first single "Nite Life" in 1994, for
which she collaborated with former Ten City members Byron Burke and Byron
