Kill Your Idols was an American hardcore punk band from New York, formed in 1995 by Andy West and Gary Bennett. The group took their name from a song by Situated Chaos. The band’s first demo was recorded in 1996, leading to the debut release “12-inch E.P.” (1997). Kill Your Idols released the EP This Is Just the Beginning (1998) and the album No Gimmicks Needed (2000). From 1998 to 2002, they toured extensively.
